What is the difference between smart glass and intelligent, controllable or switchable glass?
Nothing, all three technical terms are common in Hungarian usage.
How can smart glass be controlled?
Wall switch, remote control, iPad/iPhone/Android.
How quickly can the glass be switched from one phase to another?
The switch occurs in hundredths of a second.
Is the smart glass completely transparent when turned on?
The smart film and smart glass we distribute provide 98% transparency when turned on, so it is practically perfectly transparent!
How can it be purchased and installed?
We sell the switchable film to resellers, and we also execute the smart glass as a finished product with installation.
How much does smart glass cost and why are there no prices on the website?
Pricing always depends on the project, as there can be thousands of different details and conditions at each location. Please contact us and we will be happy to send you a specific quote.
How to clean smart glass?
It can mostly be cleaned in the usual way for traditional glass, with a damp cloth or glass cleaner. The use of abrasive materials is not recommended as they may damage the glass surface. Do not use too much water and switch the glass to the off mode during cleaning. Water must be removed before switching it on.
Can the switchable film also be used on doors?
Yes, it can be used on the windows of wooden and metal doors, framed and frameless glass doors, and exclusively with us, we also use it on sliding glass doors, where the glass can be switched even while sliding!
Can holes be placed in smart glass?
Yes, but these must be placed during production. It cannot be drilled or cut after it has been made.
What is the largest size of glass that can still be made?
We recommend a maximum glass size of 1800x3200 mm, because at this size we can still ensure perfect transparency without any flaws. Of course, larger surfaces can also be made, which we solve by arranging the glasses side by side, which we can control together or separately!
Is there a colored version available?
Currently, smart glass and retrofittable smart film are available in white or smoke-colored versions. If you would like to order colored smart glass, we can achieve this with colored film.
Can smart glass be installed in a bathroom or pool?
Yes, but special attention must be paid to framing, waterproofing, and the placement of the transformer.
What is the expected lifespan?
Based on independent testing, we can guarantee a minimum of 100,000 switches for smart glass and retrofittable smart film, which ensures many years of use even with active usage.
How much UV radiation does it allow through?
- Smart glass filters out 99.5% of harmful UV rays.

What happens in case of a power outage?
The glass returns to its default state, i.e., it darkens.
